Word Hunt A LSB Steganography Method with Low Expected Number of Modifications per Pixel
Least Significant Bit (LSB) steganography is a well known technique which operates in the spatial domain of digital images. In this paper, the LSB Word-Hunt (LSB WH) is presented. It is a novel LSB approach inspired by the word-hunt puzzle. The main focus of LSB WH is to reduce the Expected Number of Modifications per Pixel (ENMPP) when compared to other methods in the literature. The results show that LSB WH has an ENMPP around 0.315, for natural images with high entropy on the second and the third least significant bits. Results also show that the new method is robust to the statistical chisquare attack.
